Get ready, Trekkies! Star Trek: Voyager - Across The Unknown is beaming onto the Switch 2 on February 18th, 2026! Publisher Daedalic Entertainment has just announced the launch date, and it's time to get excited.
To celebrate, Daedalic has released a 'Combat Deep Dive' video from developer gameXcite.
But that's not all! A demo, already available on Steam, PS5, and Xbox, will also be coming to the Switch 2 soon. This demo, inspired by the iconic pilot episode 'Caretaker', offers approximately one hour of gameplay, including a helpful tutorial to get you started.
For those who want to boldly go where no one has gone before, a Deluxe Edition is also available for pre-order. This edition includes exciting extras integrated into the main campaign: new missions, new recruitable heroes, and powerful technologies inspired by pivotal alien encounters in the Delta Quadrant.
According to the official description, Across the Unknown is a unique blend of exploration, ship and resource management, roguelite elements, and meaningful choices. The game promises to deliver a fresh take on the beloved sci-fi universe, with what-if scenarios that open up new possibilities. This sounds like it could be a game-changer for fans, but will it live up to the hype?
