WWE Could Add Surprises to Elimination Chamber Despite Full Lineup
WWE has already locked in six runners for the Men’s Elimination Chamber, but there’s still a chance of a major shake-up before the bell rings. The current official participants are Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Jey Uso, and LA Knight. The victor will earn a championship opportunity at WrestleMania, setting immense stakes for everyone involved.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer hinted that WWE could alter the match format or bring in additional participants. While discussing WrestleMania scenarios and potential shifts in the title picture, he said he’d heard rumors about more names entering the fray.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a multi-person match at all. I’ve heard rumors of Orton being in it… I just heard Orton might be in it, Jacob Fatu might be in it, Sami Zayn might be in it, you know, so. And they’re not even, you know, like, Jacob Fatu and Sami Zayn aren’t even in this chamber match.”
Meltzer’s comment seems to slip up on the point that Orton is already officially qualified. The real takeaway is the possibility of fresh additions like Jacob Fatu or Sami Zayn, which could dramatically reshape the match and its WrestleMania implications.
WWE has a history of shake-ups around WrestleMania season, where plans can shift quickly. Bringing in another major name would instantly alter odds and open up new storytelling directions heading into the year’s biggest event.
As tensions rise and WrestleMania’s main event picture evolves, the Elimination Chamber could become a turning point if WWE introduces surprise competitors at the last minute. The six-man lineup may not be as final as it seems.
Do you think WWE should stick with the six confirmed competitors, or would adding someone like Jacob Fatu or Sami Zayn make the match more unpredictable? Share your thoughts in the comments.
